Russia's LONG LIVE ROCK 'N' ROLL Festival Gets Postponed
June 18, 2002Russia's Long Live Rock 'N' Roll Festival, which was previously scheduled to take place on June 28-30 at the 15,000-capacity VVC (Vserossiyskiy Vystavochniy Center, All-Russian Exhibition Center) in Moscow, has now apparently been postponed until August 23-25.
As previously reported, SAXON, CANDLEMASS, SODOM, PRIMAL FEAR, SENTENCED, GLENN HUGHES, DORO, GRAVE DIGGER, URIAH HEEP and GAMMA RAY were all scheduled to appear at the event, which was allegedly pushed back due to the recent riots following the Russian soccer team's loss in the World Cup.
